I can't stand my family. saying hate would be too strong, but i know i don't love them. my father is ignorant and a cheater, my mother is naive, narrow minded and judgemental. my father's whole side pretty much disappeared when he did, and my mother's side wont even talk to me unless they think i'm still going to church. i dont talk to anyone in my family about anything important. that's the part i do hate.
I'm sorry that you are having to go through such a thing. But despite what you may have experienced at the hands of your earthly family, know that this is the heart of your heavenly Father for you. You were never meant to be unloved. I'm sorry that negligence on the part of men has left you vulnerable to mistreatment.
But that isn't God's plan -- it's the consequence of our sin and disobedience. Jesus came to reverse the effects of sin. I pray that you will find the love that you're lacking in your natural family... He gave us church to give fathers to the fatherless.

I think not. It's a negative consequence of society's changing ideals about marriage, morality and this market based value system. You have my sympathies, for what it's worth. :(
